Purple Valley in Goa is a renowned Ashtanga Yoga retreat with the best teachers in the world. 

Our African adventure took us from the snow white beaches and turquoise waters to Tsavo park, Kenya´s largest National Park. We slept in tents by the river where you could see hippos and crocodiles, surrounded by a seemingly endless savannah. And yes, I did see giraffes too.

A yoga retreat is the perfect way to go if you don´t want to travel solo, but cannot seem to find a friend to travel with. I have been to Petri Räisänen´s retreats in Thailand, India and this time in Kenya. Of these three retreats, Watamu by the Indian ocean was an absolute dream come true.
