The natural cosmetics market has expanded in an unbelievable pace during the past few years. Ten years ago you could count the cult products with the fingers of two hands. Now I´m running out of fingers and toes too. Every brand has their own stellar products and one of my favorite things navigating the cosmetics jungle is to find every brands most exquisite products.

Bringing the TOP 10 together was quite a challenge since so many brands have several amazing products. I have listed here the ten products that have received the loudest applause around the globe:

1. Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm

Neal’s Rose Beauty Balm could easily be given the title of the world´s best natural cosmetics product. First of all this multi tasking balm is genuine natural cosmetics at it´s best: there are no extra fillers and no nonsense. Exactly for this reason balms and plant oil mixtures are invincible, true skin food. Secondly, the rose balm works on so many levels: as a cleansing balm with the muslin cloth that comes with the package, it can be used as a facial oil both evening and in the morning under the make up and as a skin renewing, nourishing mask due to it´s wrinkle and scar smoothening properties. I was able to heal my scar from a surgery in no time using this beauty balm. Simply put, this product will make your skin glow!

2. Pai Rosehip Oil

This British cult product contains rose hip oil as well, but in such a concentrated and strong form that no other product in the market does. Pai oil´s rose hip is a CO2 extract making the product extra potent. By CO2 extraction it is possible to preserve even the most delicate components of the plant. It cannot be compared to cold pressed oils and the product in question is an extract, not a regular oli. Pai´s oil contains both rose hip seed and fruit CO2 extracts and vitamin E and rosemary as preservatives. The product can be used for fatigued skin, for treating ageing skin, melasma, scars and sun damaged skin a couple of times a week or nightly as an intensive regimen.

3. May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon

The natural cosmetics gastronaut, May Lindstrom´s blue beauty balm is like the garden of Eden in a jar. The heavenly scent and deep blue color of the velvety oil are from Maroccan chamomile, blue tansy, which contains a high concentration of indigo blue azulene. Azulene is known for it´s highly effective skin calming properties. The beauty balm is not from the cheapest end but the seemingly never ending jar is worth every penny. It´s plant oils and waxes are the most precious and nourishing ones in this world: camellia oil, shea butter, cacao butter, marula oil, yangu oli and baobab oli nourish the skin so effectively that after trying this balm one realises why it would make absolutely no sense to pay the same price on a jar of silicone and faux fats.

4. Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength

The U.S. brand Juice Beauty sky rocketed into one of the best selling natural cosmetics brands when the company launched their collaboration with the advocate of natural beauty, Gwyneth Paltrow. Gwyneth has been the creative director of Juice Beauty´s make up line and the company has produced Gwyneth´s own signature brand Goop. Juice Beauty has been known for it´s effective products based on fruit juices long before this collaboration. The brand´s undisputed cult product is their AHA peel, the strongest version contains 15% AHA extracts – I would not advise using anything stronger than this for the skin, even though some professionals do use stronger chemical peels. If your skin is super sensitive or you suffer of rosacea or POD, I would advise you to steer clear of AHA peels all together.

5. Kjaer Weis Mascara

There is one single natural cosmetics mascara that will hold the lashes curl, lengthen and give volume all the while staying put for the day. When wonderful quality meets beautiful design, and tops it off with a genious refillable package, we are talking about the cult mascara. No one can even touch Kjaer Weis when it comes to product development.

6. RMS Beauty Living Luminizer

There probably is not a fashion magazine or a beauty blog that wouldn´t have praised this product. The Luminizer applies on lightly and gives a natural glow which is perfect for highlighting the features. The Luminizer can be used as is under or over make up or it can be mixed into a moisturiser or a foundation.

7. Gressa Skin Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation

Regardless Gressa still being a young brand it has been able to create an innovation that is just waiting for the copy cats come running. The combination of a serum and a foundation is satggering by it´s silicone smooth feel, it´s ability to conceal with just a few drops, it´s air brushed appearance on the skin and by the fact that it truly is a nourishing natural cosmetics product that leaves the skin fresh and breathing. There are so many tones to choose from that even the most fair Skandinavian skin is able to find a perfect match. If you send a photo of your face to Gressa’s customer service they will help you find the perfect tone.

8. Kypris Moonlight Catalyst

Kypris is a brand that had me at hello. When I come across brands like this it makes me wonder if there is a need for one single new product, ever again. The beautifully ornamented bottles are like decorative items and the products are pure magic. The Moonlight Catalyst puts the synthetic anti-age serums into shame – and even the price is on point. Moth bean is a natural comparative to retinol and the enzymes used in this product make the skin glow like moon light.

9. Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

By far the best selling natural cosmetics brand in the U.S., Tata Harper, has been able to convince even the most demanding, botox loving customers to turn to natural cosmetics. And no wonder there, with the amazingly beautiful and transparent business that this incredible lady runs. I would like to bring every single Tata´s product to the pedestal, but the product gaining the most praise is the jelly like mask that reveals a brand new face upon rinsing. The firming mask brightens dull and fatigued skin with pomegranate enzymes and the salicylic acid found in willow bark extract. The product is gentle and works wonders as an enzyme peel on sensitive skins.

10. Esse Plus Probiotic Serum

I have a couple of idols in the natural cosmetics field. The one I look up to the most is the South African creator of Esse, Trevor Steyn. If you happen to be sceptical about natural cosmetics or skin care all together for that matter, I highly recommend you attend one of Trevor´s lectures. He might just rock your views. Trevor has created the world´s first (and seemingly the only one) cosmetics product that contains live probiotic microbes. Several brands have tried to accomplish this but failed in attempts, it takes a lot more than a good idea to store live probiotics in cosmetics. Probiotics have several benefits in skin care and are especially beneficial for ageing, acne, rosacea and eczema skins

Did you find your favorite from these cult products? Do you have another product in mind which was not listed here?
