Not only did we just set the clock forwards one hour, but the hours themselves seem to be running by at double pace. Saturday is the first of November. I was lying on the beach in my bikinis just yesterday!
I’ll have to try to orient myself to the approaching Christmas, though my brain is still stuck in early fall. Christmas comes with benefits, after all – like Christmas parties!
Whether it’s the company’s yearly Christmas bash, or you’re having a holiday-get together with friends, getting made up for the event is definitely worth it – and having a professional do it for you is even better. Getting someone else to doll you up in a glowing nude or a dark smoky-eye look makes the day feel extra special. My personal favorite color for the holiday season is emerald green; it can be used for a smart daytime look, or to add a flair of drama in the evening.
I am available to hire as a makeup artist this coming holiday season. Services can be provided on location for a group of friends or colleagues (normally, I work from home). For a bit of extra pre-party program, you can also request a short presentation on natural cosmetics or skin care, customized to your liking.
You are naturally welcome to come and have your makeup done at my home in Punavuori (bookings can be made online), but reservations for larger groups should be made via email at katja(at)katjakokko.com.
