Since early last fall, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to connect with you – my ever-growing number of readers – in a more personal manner. It’s wonderful to see you being so active in the comments section, sharing product tips with each other, and giving me feedback on products that I’ve recommended. I wanted to give you something special, therefore, something that extraneous from the blog. A newsletter seemed like the best way to go about it.

The idea was germinating in my mind for months as I tried to plan a concept for the newsletter. I finally realized that this is one of those things where it’s best to go with the flow, letting it evolve and solidify into something perfect with time. The newsletter contains updates from my personal life that I might not want to share on the blog; tips that don’t always make it to the blog; as well as sneak-peeks into upcoming themes. Besides small updates on my life, I also wanted to give you something lovely and special, and to promote small businesses that I personally love, and so each newsletter contains two perks or discounts that are exclusive to the newsletter’s subscribers – and it’s not all cosmetics!

The first newsletter will be going out around mid-March, with each subsequent letter coming out once a month. I have ample time to round up more subscribers between then and now, and I thought I would do a giveaway to get things rolling. The prize is good enough that I would like to take it home myself: a boxful of my beloved Wild Rose products from Neal’s Yard Remedies. The package contains the Wild Rose Beauty Elixir, Wild Rose Body Elixir, and the Wild Rose hand cream.
