A little while ago I received a surprise package in the mail, and my neighbors were probably treated to my gleeful shouts of “hurrah!” at its reception. The package contained a bundle of the much hyped Hurraw! lip balms, which I hadn’t yet had the chance to try.
As you might have guessed by the name, these lip balms are raw, vegan, and completely natural. They are also absolutely irresistible, with more scent and flavor options than one knows what to do with. Pretty appears to carry just about the whole range, while a more limited selection is available from Biodelly.
I was given licorice, grape fruit, earl grey, chai spice, and tinted cinnamon to try out. Please don’t make me choose a favorite, however; they’re all good enough to eat!
Hurraw also makes Aryuvedic balms for all types of doshas – in my case pitta, and occasionally vata. The sun protection balm with SPF15 is great choice for the summer.
Aside from being really cute, these effective balms soften and bind moisture to the lips. I give them a gold star, and a mention as a luxury item from the Cheap & Chic category. A stick will cost you €4.90 at Pretty, and €5.60 at Biodelly.
