If you listen closely enough I\u2019m sure you can hear the drum rolling and feel the earth trembling when one of the most important times of the decade is marching straight on. If you\u2019re a sensitive person you can probably feel this impressive and intensive time approaching in your gut. It\u2019s good to remember that these collective energies I interpret every month in New Moon forecast touch us all. Every forecast I write is meant for everyone interested in cosmic vibes and current quality of time, not just for some born under a certain sign. Even if we may recognise in our own lives certain themes similar to these collective vibes described in astrological forecast, it always depends on our own natal chart if and how they are relevant to us personally. Our birth chart shows what is being activated and how by these general astrological factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore these exceptionally charged, deep and solemn energies that are present in this New Moon in Capricorn will bring profound and thorough changes for some of us (specifically to those who have planets in their natal chart in about 5\u00b0 Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries), but there are also people who will not be touched so deeply by these energies of time. This transformation process we are talking about will be much longer than our normal month long cycle. It will last at least three months, probably much longer, the most emphasised time being from January till March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what is going on here?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last New Moon of the decade is metaphorically kind of a balancing of the accounts. If you normally at this time of the year take a quick glance back to the year you are leaving behind and then make some overly optimistic New Year\u2019s resolutions, well now it just isn\u2019t enough. It\u2019s much better to sit down with a pen and some paper, get serious and take a steady look at the last ten years. Outline your most important experiences, what you learned, what you didn\u2019t learn but hope you would, and most importantly what you wished you would have accomplished but for some reason didn\u2019t. If this is something that still makes your heart beat faster because it knows it is something you were really looking forward to when you were making plans before entering this life. If there is something that deep down you know you were meant to do here but haven\u2019t yet done it, stay right there. Why did you want to be born with all you have, to these people around you, right at this time? What were you suppose to bring with you, what were you suppose to be, to experience, to create? What are you going to do about it now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some witty astrologer once said that Solar Eclipse is like a New Moon on steroids. Indeed it is. When the New Moon is a time to begin, to take an intention or plant a seed \u2013 once every month \u2013 then a Solar Eclipse is exactly that but ten times more powerful and vibrant. What  kind of action is this time asking you to take? What are you beginning? And in order to do that what do you have to leave behind?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Moon in Capricorn is always practical, constructive, determined and in earnest about that which is current and essential. The highest potential of Capricorn is a crystal clear focus and an ability to commit to achieve the chosen goal. Capricorn\u2019s quality is focused, pragmatic, collected and deep. At the chart of the Solar Eclipse the Sun and the Moon are in conjunct with Mercury, the planet of mind and thinking, and Jupiter that represents growth and expansion. Uranus, the symbol of higher intelligence and innovative ideas, is in beautiful trine with them, and all this is happening in the most realistic and concrete earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn. Brilliant!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solar Eclipse is on a South Node of the Moon that symbolises our past, old beliefs and programmings, but also our talents, experience and completeness. Eventhough the New Moon directs our focus towards the future, we can\u2019t do that by disregarding things that have their roots in the past but that still very much affect our actions and decisions at the moment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its best this is a time for great growth. When we look at the picture from a larger perspective they tell us that it\u2019s time for a human kind to grown up. It\u2019s time to stop and re-evaluate where we are, what went wrong, what needs to be fixed and what can be discarded because it never worked anyway. We need to roll our sleeves and get to work for a better future, not just for ourselves but the generations to come. This is a time for a new strategy. Responsibility and obligation are key words here. What are your true responsibilities?
