It looks like Tata Harper has found her way to your hearts as well, and I\u2019m not surprised \u2013 the sense of genuine artisanship and doing it yourself gives the brand a depth that is rare to find. In this final part of the three-post series, I will introduce you to a serum, moisturizers, and a potent oil. If you\u2019ve missed the previous parts of the series, please go here<\/a> to read about its background and ideology, and here<\/a> for look at the brand\u2019s cleansers, toner, face mask, and lip balms.<\/p>\n

The Rejuvenating Serum<\/a> is the corner stone of Tata\u2019s range of products. This highly effective solution for ageing skin, containing 29 active ingredients and no purified water, has been designed for maximum potency.<\/p>\n

The serum smooths out lines and evens out skin texture, using hyaluronic acid to bind moisture to the dermal cells; antioxidants and vitamins help to brighten and heal the skin, as well as evening out the skin tone. The result is firmer, glowing, more elastic and youthful looking skin.<\/p>\n

The list of active ingredients is packed with antioxidant and vitamin rich vegetable extracts, including gotu kola, elderflower, arnica, marigold, meadowsweet, lime tree flower, alfalfa, lavender, daffodil, date, bogbean, willow, and hyaluronic acid. 74% of the ingredients are organically grown.<\/p>\n

The consistency is simultaneously rich and velvety, and light and quickly absorbed, leaving the skin feeling smooth and pleasantly firm. This is one the most effective serums I\u2019ve ever tried; there\u2019s no shortage of impressive and impressed reviews about it, and I have no doubt the product would give excellent results in evening out discoloration and skin texture \u2013 the ingredients alone indicate as much.<\/p>\n

The sizing of the serum\u2019s package is generous: most serums are 0.5 to 1 fl. oz., while this serum comes in a 1.7 fl. oz. bottle.<\/p>\n

I recommend applying the serum on top of Floral Essence<\/a> while the skin is still slightly dewy, as this makes it easier for the active ingredients to be absorbed into the skin.<\/p>\n

\"DSC_0191\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There are two moisturizers: the Rebuilding Moisturizer<\/a> for oily and combination skin, and the Repairative Moisturizer<\/a> for dry skin.<\/p>\n

Like the serum, these moisturizers contain a staggering amount of active ingredients. What sets these lotions apart is their consistency: Rebuilding<\/a> is very light and quickly absorbed, making the skin faintly matte, but not unpleasantly tacky. Besides being suitable for oily skin, it is also excellent for humid climates.<\/p>\n

Repairative<\/a> is rich without being thick or heavy, leaving the skin feeling silky and well-hydrated \u2013 the perfect moisturizer for winter or dry climates in general.<\/p>\n

The active ingredients include a wide range of humectants or hydrating components, antioxidants, and vitamins. Both moisturizers help to smooth out wrinkles, improve skin texture and make the skin suppler; they bind not only nourishing ingredients but also moisture to the skin, and protect the skin from environmental damage.<\/p>\n

The active ingredients include aloe vera, mango butter, rose water, honey, elderflower, hyaluronic acid, bogbean, willow, alfalfa, borage, marigold, meadowsweet, lime tree flower, lavender, and arnica. The Rebuilding Moisturizer and the Repairative Moisturizer contain 72% and 71% organically grown ingredients, respectively.<\/p>\n

The ingredients in these moisturizers create wonderful brightening, evening, pore-minimizing, repairing, and hydrating combinations. All the things, in other words, that the skin needs in order to stay glowing, and therefore young, looking.<\/p>\n

\"DSC_0080\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The final touch to Tata\u2019s comprehensive skin care experience is provided by the Replenishing Nutrient Complex<\/a> oil serum. A massive light bulb went off in my head when I saw this product: the serum comes in a glass bottle with a roll-on. How has no one thought of this before?<\/em> Not only does the roll-on top prevent spilling, it also gives you a nice face massage while you apply it. We westerners are woefully unfamiliar with what is in fact the best thing about home treatments: different sorts of self-administered facial massages \u2013 the bread and butter of Asian skin care culture.<\/p>\n

\"DSC_0194\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The oil serum contains a variety of repairing and nourishing fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants: rose-hip seed extract heals scars and gives the skin a nice glow; arnica treats infections and reduces redness; alfalfa provides the skin with oxygen and contains vitamins A, B, C, D, and E; borage contains line-smoothing gamma linolenic acid. The beta-carotene in carrot seed oil gives the skin a light, glowing tint, while rose otto essential oil gives the serum its sophisticated scent. 96% of the ingredients are organically grown.<\/p>\n

The oil is suitable for all skin types, and is recommended to be applied between the rejuvenating serum<\/a> and moisturizer.<\/p>\n

This oil is divine, and the handy packaging only increases its attractiveness. I use the roller to go over lines in my forehead and around my nose, as well as boosting skin metabolism by stroking outward over the skin. To finish off, I rub the oil into my skin with lifting, upward-strokes.<\/p>\n
