According to Spotify, my most played track this year has been George Harrison\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cMy Sweet Lord\u201d.<\/p>\n

It seems as if I\u2019ve spent the year reaching for some higher power. Then again, one of the most beautiful memories of the year, for me, is linked to this song.<\/p>\n

2014 was the worst, most tumultuous year of my life so far. It was also a loving year full of possibilities, in which things clicked into place. Sorrow, uncertainty, anxiety, and exhaustion were my default emotions in 2014; at the same time, there was a sense of peace, freedom, love, and trust. A year of paradoxes.<\/p>\n

I know: you\u2019ve gone through these things as well. Isn\u2019t it comforting to know that we\u2019ve all shared the experience?<\/p>\n

The sun is finally shining on this year, but I think in 2015, it will blind us with its brilliance.<\/p>\n

Oh my Lord, 2015, welcome! I pray you will gather us all in your loving embrace.<\/p>\n
