Time for another makeup recipe. I\u2019ve stepped outside my own comfort zone this time, and gone for some cooler eye shadow shades from Zuii\u2019s new Diva*<\/a> palette. Diva contains four cool grey shades: an icy, almost white grey; a cool light grey; a medium dark grey; and a matte black. As you might be able to see from the pictures, they have an almost blue tint once applied to the skin.<\/p>\n

I like the makeup in these photos, but as a sworn lover of nude browns, I did feel weird wearing it today. The shades in the palette are excellent basic colors that can be used to create a variety of looks. I thought we might go for a simple look this time, and leave out the eyeliner like we did with the Christmas makeup<\/a>. These palettes have inspired me to leave out the eyeliner, as applying the darkest color in the palette along the lash line creates similar intensity without a visible line, making the application process quicker as well.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how to create the look:<\/p>\n

Start by applying the lightest color in the palette on the eyelid itself, and then use the second lightest color to create depth in the outer corner, crease, and lash line. Apply the second darkest<\/em> grey to the outer corner and lash line, and gently blend toward the inner corner, making sure the colors transition seamlessly. Lastly, use a flat angled brush to apply the black shadow into the outer corner of the lashes, softly blending up and outward. Smudge a bit of the color along the lower lash line as well. Curl your lashes and apply mascara.<\/p>\n
