Into The Gloss\u00b4 The Top Shelf<\/a> might just be the most inspiring, lovely and interesting post series in the whole universe\u00b4s beauty blogs and sites. One of my favorite pass times is to browse through pics of people\u00b4s vanity\u00b4s and see the same favorites as I have on my own shelves. I also love the style of photo\u00b4s in the series, and all together the visual style of Into The Gloss which is not powdery, pretty cotton wool, but original and cool.<\/p>\n

In my previous home I had a traditional vanity, but I never felt inspired to post photos of it in my blog. In my new home the bathroom has a special feel to it, open glass shelves where the beautiful cosmetics jars and bottles get to parade on. My friend Eeva<\/a> said last Saturday after our sauna session ( I begun a new tradition in my new home, Katja\u00b4s Saturday Spa, since our house has a beautiful sauna ) that my bathroom is a dream come true Top Shelf.<\/p>\n

Let\u00b4s take a closer look at my top shelf:<\/p>\n

First row is cleansers : my all time favorite  May Lindstrom Honey Mud <\/a>and the remainders of Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser<\/a>, another lovely cleanser that feels amazing on the skin with it\u00b4s perfect texture and active raw ingredients that tingle on your skin. The toner row begins with May\u00b4s Jasmine Garden<\/a> and behind it I have the Korean natural cosmetics brand Whamisa\u00b4s toner <\/a>and the U.S. brand Indie Leen Q10 Toner.<\/a> The two latter are in testing but for now have not made me cloud 9 over them.<\/p>\n

For deep cleansing I use Esse chocolate exfoliator,<\/a> Microderm exfoliator<\/a> and May\u00b4s Clean Dirt.<\/a> From the eye contour area products my current favorites are Kahina\u00b4s Prickly Pear Rollerball,<\/a> Neal’s Yard Remedies White Tea Toning Eye Gel<\/a> (a saviour for dark circles and puffy eyes) and Tata\u00b4s eye contour cream with diamond dust. <\/a><\/p>\n

The serum row begins with Kypris Antioxidant Dew<\/a>, which is an absolutely amazing product and behind it I have Moonlight Catalyst <\/a>which I use in the evenings. The oils are heavily represented in my vanity because I regard them to be the cornerstone of good skin care, oils are the number one product to bring important nutrients to the skin, and I absolutely adore a great skin oil. First up I have Kypris 1000 Roses<\/a> and Healing Bouquet, <\/a>Absolution\u00b4s The Addiction<\/a> and behind it I have Dr. Alkaitis\u00b4 Ageless Elixir,<\/a> Kahina Serum<\/a> and Max & Me\u00b4s I am the Light<\/a> (you\u00b4ll be hearing more of this brand shortly). In the balm row I naturally have Neal’s Yard Remedies classic Wild Rose Beauty Balm<\/a>, last years awarded beauty balm Mahalo\u00b4s Rare Indigo<\/a> and Mahalo Balm.<\/a><\/p>\n

For moisturisers at the moment I\u00b4m using Tata\u00b4s diamond cream<\/a> and Clarifying Moisturizer<\/a> and Dr. Alkaitis day cream <\/a>, behind that you can find Neal’s Yard\u00b4s Calendula Cream.<\/a> I use that one for occasional skin irritations, mainly while traveling. Last products on my lower shelf are Henn\u00e9 rose lip scrub<\/a> and Kahina Fez balm for hands and body. <\/a>And of course Flumine\u00b4s lovely ceramic spatulas. <\/a><\/p>\n

Max & Me\u00b4s Sweet Serenity mask\/cleanser<\/a> begin my top shelf, behind that I have Whamisa\u00b4s sheet mask<\/a> which are in line to be tried out. The peels I have currently in rotation are Supermood\u00b4s Youth Glo Luxury Peel<\/a> and behind that I have Pai\u00b4s Kukui & Jojoba peel.<\/a> I have a specific mask for any given skin issue I might come across: May\u00b4s Problem Solver,<\/a> Mahalo\u00b4s detox Pele Mask<\/a>, last year\u00b4s best mask Mahalo\u00b4s The Petal,<\/a> Pai\u00b4s Copaiba Deep Cleanse AHA Mask,<\/a> Nuori\u00b4s new moisturising mask<\/a>, behind it I have Tata\u00b4s moisturising mask <\/a>and her mask tiro flower jelly mask,<\/a> honey spiked version of the same mask<\/a> and the purifying mask. <\/a>Hmm, yesterday at a meeting I got complimented of my glowing skin again, maybe it\u00b4s thanks to my mask collection.<\/p>\n

Half of the top shelf is dedicated to body care products. The beautiful Kypris body oil <\/a>and Max & Me\u00b4s Circle of Protection<\/a>, it\u00b4s the safe haven of body oils. Mahalo\u00b4s Vacation Glow<\/a> is waiting to go on vacation and behind it I have Dr. Hauscka creamy Moor & Lavender body oil.<\/a> The perfumes I use are Laboratorio Olfattivo Noblige <\/a>(does not qualify within natural cosmetics criteria) and Neal’s Yard Frankincense perfume.<\/a> In the last row I have Organic Shop<\/a> strawberry body milk and Neal’s Yard Orange & Geranium Body Balm.<\/a><\/p>\n

On the highest shelf I have the equipment: Flumine ceramic mask bowls<\/a> which are a must have for mixing all powdery masks (if you don\u00b4t yet have a Flumine spatel and bowl you can order them at  Proloque web shop<\/a>), May\u00b4s mask bowl, three different mask brushes and the worlds most beautiful ceramic neti pot. I have several times pondered upon the thought of how has no one before made a beautiful version of the awful plastic neti pot. Works super good with dispensing John Masters Herbal Cider<\/a>!<\/p>\n
