I have been sitting in front of the screen now for fifteen minutes without getting one single word down. I am way too excited and really don´t know where to start…

Last fall Supermood launched it´s third product line Youth Glo, a skin brightening line for ageing skin which I have been co creating since the beginning. The first two products, Luxury Peel and Babyface Mask became instant hits and are currently sold out. I was not surprised at all by this, because since the beginning I knew we are creating products that will fly off the shelves.

And so the story continues. The two newcomers in the Youth Glo line hit stores just two weeks ago.

Youth Glo Radiance Serum is going to be this year´s hit serum. I have been longing for this kind of a Cinderella product for the natural cosmetics market for a while. The Youth Glo product line is based on gentle, skin brightening AHA extracts, which in this serum are from apple and grapefruit extracts. The Moth Bean extract acts as a natural substitute for retinol and together with the natural AHA exctracts it smoothens and regenerates the skin. The Sea Buckthorn juice contains plenty of skin brightening vitamin C and the Rose Hip oil has a good dose of vitamin A and C. Both Argan and Pumpkin seed oli are nourishing and perfect for smoothing ageing skin. The Fig extract is full of antioxidants and it repairs skin of the damage by free radicals, Calendula calms the skin. What makes this serum truly special is it´s combination of  the retinol like effect without irritation and the gentle fruit extracts. The combination is perfectly moisturising and brightening. Fruit extracts are moisturising agents, but when used in heavy concentrations may also dry the skin- just as the humectant Glycerine! This said, the concentration of ingredients truly do matter.

Don´t think the fun ends here, oh no! The serum leaves a subtle glow on the face due to the Mica mineral. I´m not talking about a disco ball effect, the light reflecting pigment is barely detectable but the beautiful glow is truly present. The effect urges the ” How do you look so radiant?”  inquiry. The scent of the serum is soft and powdery. Somehow brings Marie Antoinette to mind.

Youth Glo Radiance Serum works well with all skin types both morning and evening and can be used to bring light to the eye contour area. The serum is in a pipette bottle.

If you are dreaming of a face as soft as cottonwool the Youth Glo Radiance Oil facial oil is your product. Rose Hip oil and Lingonberry seed oil are the raw ingredients of this velvety rich facial oil. Rose Hip oil is my personal favorite in ageing skin products, and pretty much in everything else as well! The Lingonberry seed oil is antimicrobial and keeps the skin young with antioxidants and Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. The oil has Argan oil and Carrot seed extract as well. The Radiance Oil regulates the skin sebum secretion and brings a better moisture balance by increasing the skins ability to absorb moisture alongside firming and smoothing out fine lines. The necessary fatty acids and antioxidants repaid damages of free radicals, such as caused by sun and other external extreme conditions. Radiance Oil is a perfect product for the winter season, as well as in the summertime or whenever the skin is exposed to extreme weather conditions.

Youth Glo Radiance Oil suits all skin types and is particularly good for ageing, dry and sensitive skins.

So for this year´s skin care motto, Go with the glow.

Have you had a chance to try these out?
